Deep Research

Deep Research is an agent that uses reasoning and web search to synthesize large amounts of online information and complete multi-step research tasks for you.

Using Deep Research

To activate Deep Research, navigate to the prompt bar, click the down arrow next to the Search button, the select Deep Research.

Next, write a prompt for your research topic. Note that since Deep Research can take 25-45 minutes, it is worth taking the time to perfect your prompt and make your intent explicit to the agent.

You might be asked follow up questions to refine your research topic.

Once the research topic is clarified, Sidekick will conduct research in an agentic loop. Progress can be viewed in the preview.

The research report will likely be complete in 25-45 minutes, and can be viewed in the chat window.
